Today he enlisted..
Sent him today with his parents..
It was a quick and hasty one..
But oh well..
Woke up at 5.15 in the morning..
Went to his place and caught a quick breakfast..
Took a cab down to Pasir Ris Bus Interchange..
Took the free shuttle bus to the SAF Ferry Terminal..
20mins ferry ride and we reached..
Had a tour of their bunks & equipment they were issued..
Witnessed the oath-taking and picked him back for lunch..
We had a quick lunch..
And soon he had to go..
Hope he settles down well..
He texted me to call him at 2158.
He didn't pick up.
At 2222 he told me he didn't have time to call me and had to shower..
Guess he is still in the showers or maybe in his bed already..
It has been a long day and I'm sure he is very tired..
Cos I am pretty tired myself..
Worried..
I know he is fine..
But I wanna hear it from him..
At least he said Nights <3
