August 9th, National Day.
The day that Singapore declared it's independence.
Went to Bukit Panjang Plaza to get dome stuff & met A there..
He helped mum & I carry some stuff :)

We then went home & watched NDP!

This year's NDP is a little more different..
I finally realised & feel a little more this year..
Ever since Singapore was independent,
We, the citizens of Singapore have to defend our country.
By ourselves..
Every Singaporean boy have to serve the nation.
This year, A has no exception.
He enlisted & is currently serving.
Thank You for serving & protecting us.
He joined us for dinner today & it was a way I wanted to thank him.
He will be going back to Tekong tomorrow night..
I'll miss him for sure..
But, I know,
Pain is temporary..
He went home by himself today..
I appreciated everything he has done today..
Like helping my mum & I..
Coming over from Sembawang,
just to have dinner with my family & I..
Helping us with the tiny things ;)
We won't be meeting next week because I'll be having exams next Tuesday onwards..
So I'll see him only 2 weeks from now..
Sad, I gave him a little more hugs..
When I went back, he posted a photo on Instagram..
He knew I was pretty particular about tagging & our hashtag #
And usually, he doesn't do it..
But I don't know why, he did it today..
